Family has always been at the core of my life. I was born in Mexico, but I've spent most of my life in Murray County, where I've been fortunate to be part of a close-knit community that feels like an extension of my family. Growing up, soccer became an integral part of my life. I started playing when I was 4 years old, and over the years, I earned several recognitions that deepened my passion for the sport. My family and my roots have played a huge role in shaping who I am today, both as a player and as a person. The values of hard work, respect, and commitment were instilled in me from a young age, and soccer became a way to live out those values.
My coaching journey began as an assistant coach for the women’s soccer team, where I was fortunate to work alongside some of the best mentors who shaped my coaching style. After that, I transitioned into the role of JV head boys' coach, where I had the opportunity to lead and mentor a younger group of athletes. This year marks a new chapter for me as I step into the role of head boys' soccer coach. Over the years, I’ve been proud to help many athletes not just improve on the field, but grow into respectful young men and women with strong values to carry them beyond high school. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing former players succeed in life and reflect on the coaching moments that helped them get there. Though this is my first year as head coach, the lessons I’ve learned along the way have prepared me to lead and inspire the next generation of players.
