Dear Westwood Families,
I hope this letter finds you refreshed and excited for the start of the 2024-2025 school year. It is with great pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to both returning and new families to our Westwood community. We are excited to have your children back with us, ready to embark on a year filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities.
Over the summer, our dedicated staff has been diligently preparing to ensure a positive and enriching experience for every student that includes enhancing our curriculum and creating a safe and supportive environment. Whether your child is stepping into our school for the first time or returning for another year, we are committed to providing them with the best educational experience possible.
Throughout the year, we will focus not only on academic excellence but also on fostering a sense of community and belonging. We encourage you to get involved in school activities, join our PTO, and participate in parent-teacher conferences to support your child’s learning journey. Together, we can make a significant difference in their success.
In addition to academic excellence, we are dedicated to nurturing the social-emotional development of each student. We will focus on fostering kindness, resilience, and strong relationships within our school community.
On a personal note, I am deeply honored and privileged to serve as your principal. I am hopeful and enthusiastic about the school year ahead and the incredible accomplishments our students will achieve as we strive for excellence as a team.
