DALTON, GA - The Dalton Academy is pleased to announce its upcoming Homecoming celebration, themed Pumas: Beyond Tomorrow, scheduled for Friday, February 28, 2025. The festivities will commence with a spirited pep rally at 10:00 a.m., followed by an early dismissal for all Dalton Public Schools students. Dismissal times are as follows:

• Dalton High School and The Dalton Academy: 10:45 a.m.

• Hammond Creek Middle School and Dalton Junior High School: 11:30 a.m.

• All elementary schools: 12:15 p.m.

Regular bus routes will operate according to these dismissal times.

The Dalton Academy Homecoming Parade will begin at 4:00 p.m., starting and ending at Trinity Methodist Church. Following the parade, soccer fans can enjoy an evening of competition as The Dalton Academy hosts Homecoming soccer matches against Northwest Whitfield High School. The junior varsity soccer match will take place at 5:00 p.m., with the varsity boys' match scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

The crowning of the Homecoming Queen will occur between the junior varsity and varsity soccer matches. 

Homecoming Week will take place from February 24 to February 28, 2025, featuring Spirit Week activities, including themed dress-up days. The celebration will culminate with the Homecoming Dance on Friday, February 28, immediately following the varsity soccer match, concluding at 11:00 p.m.
