Dalton, GA – The Dalton High School Literary Team achieved an outstanding finish at the recent State Literary Competition, securing second place overall. Several students earned top individual honors in their respective categories.
Ellis Stephens was named State Champion in Dramatic Interpretation, while Lilli Sharp earned the State Champion title in Personal Essay. Jack Kersey and Hayden Poe secured the State Runner-Up position in Duo Interpretation, and Isa Wan was the State Runner-Up in Analytical Essay. Additionally, Andrea Marsh placed third in the state in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking.
The team’s strong performances contributed to their overall second-place finish in the state, marking another successful year for Dalton High School’s Literary Team.
