Dalton, GA ā Dalton Public Schools was honored to host the Leadership Dalton-Whitfield organization for its annual education session at the JA Discovery Center on the Hammond Creek Middle School campus ā a day that celebrated innovation, collaboration, and community pride.
The event brought together leaders from across the community ā including representatives from Whitfield County Schools, Christian Heritage School, and Dalton State College ā for a dynamic look at education in action.
As host, Dalton Public Schools showcased its commitment to empowering students through engaging programs, forward-thinking leadership, and meaningful partnerships. Superintendent Dr. Steven Craft and Deputy Superintendent Nick Sun welcomed participants and shared how the districtās mission, vision, and programs are preparing students for college, career, and life.
Attendees experienced Dalton Public Schools firsthand as Hammond Creek Middle School ambassadors led a guided campus tour, sharing what itās like to be a student in the district. A CTAE panel and student discussion highlighted how hands-on learning and real-world experiences are shaping future leaders, while Dalton State College connected the dayās conversations to college and career readiness.
