A group of seven adults stands together indoors, smiling at the camera. Several hold sports balls, including soccer balls, footballs, and red game balls, suggesting a school or team-related activity or recognition event.

DALTON, Ga. — Dalton Public Schools is proud to announce the Game Ball winners for the month of April. Superintendent Dr. Steven Craft launched the Game Ball recognition program to honor staff members who exemplify the district’s four core values from Culturize by Jimmy Casas: expecting excellence, carrying the banner, being a merchant of hope and being a champion for students.

The Game Ball Awards recognize employees whose roles support the entire district rather than a single school building. These individuals work behind the scenes to ensure systems operate smoothly and students, staff and families have the support they need to succeed.

District RBT Team and Behavior Support Staff

Dalton Public Schools is proud to recognize our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior support staff for their tireless dedication to students and teachers. These individuals work daily in some of the most challenging classroom environments, providing critical support that helps create safe, productive learning spaces.

They advocate for both students with the highest levels of need and the educators who serve them. Their work requires mental, emotional and physical commitment, yet they consistently show up with positivity, professionalism and a willingness to do whatever is needed. Their steady presence and resilience make a meaningful difference across the district.

Recognized staff include:

  • Alison Johnson, Lead District Behavior Specialist

  • Morgan Hamby

  • Keen Johnson

  • Sendy Favela

  • Monica Gardner

  • Heather Lopez

Dalton Public Schools congratulates these April Game Ball winners and thanks them for their continued commitment to serving the district community.
