Dalton, Ga. – Dalton Public Schools has been named a 2025-2026 GAEL Vision Award Winner, an honor presented by the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL). The award was announced at the GAEL Winter Conference, held in Athens, Georgia, earlier this semester.
The GAEL Vision Award recognizes school districts that demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting and encouraging professional development opportunities for educators at all levels. This distinction is awarded to districts that prioritize ongoing growth for teachers, principals, and district staff while actively engaging with GAEL through professional learning, statewide advocacy, and networking initiatives.
“Dalton Public Schools is honored to once again be recognized with the GAEL Vision Award,” said Dr. Steven Craft, Superintendent of Dalton Public Schools. “This recognition reflects the ongoing work of our educators and leaders who are committed to growing professionally and serving our students at the highest level.”
The GAEL Winter Conference brings together educational leaders from across the state to collaborate, learn, and share best practices. Receiving the Vision Award highlights Dalton Public Schools’ continued involvement in these efforts and its dedication to supporting both staff and students.
