PTO Meeting Update!

🏃♂️🏃♀️💨 Our Cheetahs were on the move!
Dr. Kalafut and Mrs. Lopez had the best time running with and cheering on our fast Cheetahs at the Silver Bell Sprint! 🐾
A huge shoutout to Gibran and Alexa for taking 1st place in their age groups! 🏅👏
We are SO proud of them and all of our runners.
Can’t wait to see our Cheetahs shine at future events! ❤️🌟

To support a more focused, engaged, and distraction-free learning environment — and to comply with the new Georgia state law — personal devices (including cell phones and smart watches) will not be permitted during the school day for Dalton Public Schools students in grades K–8.
Families can still reach students and staff by calling the front office, emailing the teacher or school, or sending a message through the Dalton Public Schools app. These methods ensure clear, consistent communication while helping keep classrooms centered on learning.
Thank you for partnering with us to create a positive, distraction-free school experience for all students!

5th Grade Fun in Miss Gutierrez’s Class!
This week we read “A Pet for Calvin,” a story about a boy who is allergic to most pets but finds the perfect companion… a worm!
To bring the story to life, our students were surprised with two days of class “pets”—real worms! The kids had a blast exploring, observing, and (carefully!) playing with their wiggly new friends.

🌿 5th Grade Field Trip Fun! 🌿
Last week, our 5th graders visited Reflection Riding for an unforgettable hands-on learning experience! Students explored real-life examples from their Life Science unit—discovering animal classifications, observing fascinating invertebrates, and learning about important animal conservation efforts. 🐾🦋
We love watching our students connect classroom learning to the world around them! 💚✨

Miss. Wong's students got a special visit from “Laura” and “Mary” straight out of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s world! They helped us explore historical fiction in a fun, hands-on way—and even taught us how to make butter! 🧈📚✨

Send a sweet surprise to a friend or teacher this season! 🍂🎉
Grab yours Nov. 17–20 in Mrs. Rodriguez’s room.
Let’s spread some THANKFUL vibes! 💛

Familias de Park Creek: El último autobús, el Autobús 2, está saliendo de Park Creek en este momento.
After reading all about the USA Pickleball National Championship, Miss. Maggie's class took their knowledge to the playground! Her students served, smashed, and had a ball learning the game! 🎾💚

🧡 Before you feast, take a peek! Give the flyer a quick look so you’re all set for Thanksgiving lunch. See you soon!
